"Lehigh Valley Summerbridge (LVS) is a free, non-profit enrichment program hosted by Moravian Academy that is designed to assist predominantly low-income students, from nine different middle schools in the Lehigh Valley, in their quest to become a college student. These students, comprised of a variety of ethnic and racial backgrounds, and multilingual speakers, are likely to be first-generation college attendees and graduates. All teachers in our program are enrolled in college degree programs and are studying education."
This was my first ever classroom experience where I taught solo. This is the program that shaped me into the teacher I am today. Here, I gained independence, confidence, classroom management, and teaching strategies within the classroom in an environment that let me run free, but helped me when I needed it.

This summer, I oversaw all team leaders, as well as mentored 2 intern teachers. These intern teachers observed me teach, while I helped them design lessons and gave them tips on their teaching.
Taught real world mathematics, touching upon engineering, financial math, and space math.
